Enamelling quality control using artificial vision

Technology’s constant progress has allowed vision systems to become faster and less expensive, offering many advantages like consistency and quality, as well as the possibility of reducing production costs by minimizing scraps. The reliability of these systems depends highly on the professionalism of the technician who studies the problem to develop the solution.

Our research in this field is focused on offering state-of-the-art solutions, installations and assistance, as proven by the results obtained in the enamel defect analysis. What is vital in reaching our goal is the choice of the lighting system (colour tone, orientation, etc.) and of the optical devices (conformation, angle of vision, etc.), as well as the development and calibration of software dedicated to image processing.
